After Hours Care:

At Rockford Pediatrics, we are available by phone 24 hours/7 days a week. We can be reached by calling the main office number. After hours, a non-medical, communication’s operator will take your child's information and directly page the pediatrician on call.

The after-hours line should be used for urgent medical questions only that can not wait for normal business hours. If you have a question as to whether to bring your child into an urgent care center or emergency room, please give us a call. For non-urgent matters, please call us during business hours or contact us via the patient portal. Please note that we do not call in antibiotics or steroids over the phone without a patient being seen.

There is a $20 charge for the use of the After Hours Line to help offset the cost of our communications system.
